At 30, one of my biggest financial regrets is not starting my business sooner.

I started the Instagram page literally at the same time as getting pregnant.

I started the newsletter one month before I gave birth.

Now when I look at my son I wish I had started all this sooner, so it could be more established, less hectic and I could focus more on my son.

Sometimes I feel like I had twins - a business and a baby!

All these intrusive thoughts made me realise — we obsess over what we haven’t done with money — the missed savings, the impulse splurges, the forgotten budgets.

But rarely do we pause to celebrate what we have done right.

Create a note on your phone or in a notebook and jot down every small money win this week.

✨ Negotiated your bill?
✨ Skipped a spendy Uber and walked instead?
✨ Said no to something out of budget?
✨ Finally opened that savings account?

Write it down.
Because what you focus on, grows.

Your mindset is one of your most powerful financial tools. When you train your brain to recognise progress, you’re more likely to stay consistent — and confident.
